დიდხნიანი შემოქმედებითი პაუზის შემდეგ ქუთაისის ახალგაზრდული თეატრი სცენაზე ბრუნდება. ჩვენს ერთგულ მაყურებელს 9 ივნისს მოლიერის ,, დონ ჟუან " ზე გეპატიჟებით .
წარმოდგენა ლადო მესხიშვილის სახ. პროფესიული სახელმწიფო დრამატული თეატრის სცენაზე გაიმართება.

OPEN CALL - ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM – KUTAISI YOUTH THEATRE

This is an OPEN CALL to apply for a residency in Kutaisi. The Kutaisi Youth Theatre, an organization that encourages independent theatre, arts, and culture as well as film screenings projects is an award winning theatre for young professional and lay actors from Kutaisi (Imereti, Georgia). We are glad to host and bring together artists from around the world to collaborate, write and stage together. The artists will be accommodated in the theatre owned Art House villa.
People working in all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Each year we will host residents from various backgrounds: theatre (actors, directors, stage managers, theatrical makeup artists, choreographers, dancers, singers, etc.), film (script writers, directors, DoPs, etc.) painters, visual and sound artists, musicians, philosophers, writers, anthropologists, lecturers, and more. This year our villa will be open for residents from 01 September 2019.

Following resources are available: the spaces of our youth theatre (indoor stage), outdoor and indoor working spaces, projector and screen for film screenings.

We will connect the selected artists to the Kutaisi arts scene, including actors from our theatre. If artists are interest to perform or exhibit their work, we can advise them and assist them with performance / exhibition spaces.

Total price: 550 EUR per person (for a stay of one month). The amount will be adjusted accordingly if the selected artist will stay less (two or three weeks, with a minimum stay of two weeks).

This price includes:
- transport from Kutaisi airport to the address of the residency
- accommodation (in dormitories / double room according to availability)
- catering: a light breakfast and two warm meals per day
- access to all facilities and spaces within the villa and the Kutaisi Youth Theatre
