🌸 Greece 🌸

I’ve been a little quiet over here recently and that’s because I was busy sunning myself in the Greek sunshine & for the first time this year, I actually logged off - mentally & physically😅

One of my favourite things about being in Montrose is being able to go to a different seaside town/fishing village every weekend✨

The pup loves a good Sunday adventure too and she’s doing well working on her table manners🤣

🌸 2nd viewing 🌸

I got a shock when I first viewed this property and it left me a little excited, overwhelmed and confused about the possibilities… 🫠

It looked totally different to the pics I’d seen, the title deeds are bizarre & the floor plan doesn’t resemble the place!

Unsure of what to do? Sleep on it and make a decision 🧠

I didn’t want to throw an offer in there if I cannot genuinely help the vendor… so I booked a 2nd viewing and took my Power Team along with me🤗

Unfortunately, it’s a no deal BUT the things I’ve learned from my power team to consider when viewing older properties = INVALUABLE to me🤩

🌸 Communal areas 🌸

This viewing really was a rollercoaster..🎢

📍 Location?
Awesome 🤩 - in the middle of town, by the train station, lots of shops, school, amenities… and Wetherspoons 🍺

🏡 Communal areas - a little stinky, dark, damage here & there. Definitely needs a spruce up

😍 Property - Beautiful. Cute 2 bedroom, brand new kitchen & bathroom, neat decor, no works needed

So, the question is… 👀

🧐 Does the communal area make a difference?

🧐 Would it be a deal breaker if you were looking for somewhere to live or invest in?

🌸 “I don’t drink coffee” 🌸

I feel like you get to a certain age and are expected to consume your body weight in coffee daily, otherwise… you’re weird🤪

☕️ Why does every event insist on offering coffee (or tea) to everyone?

☕️ Why are most networking meets focused on “Let’s meet for coffee”

As someone who doesn’t drink tea or coffee…
I’ve lost count of the amount of times someone has offered me coffee (or tea) and literally have no idea what to do when I say “sorry I don’t like either”🤣

THE WORST PART and talk about awkward - meeting for “coffee” or at an event… then ordering a Coke Zero, Fanta or Water🙃
People immediately look at you like you’re a 5 year old🤣🤣
