I know I’m absolutely terrible at posting on here and it’s been a while since I last showed my face 🙈😂 …but today I decided it was finally time for a new profile picture 📸✨

For years, I’ve always tried to cover up and look more “professional” for work photos. Mainly because of the fear of being judged purely on appearance — something I’ve unfortunately experienced first hand before.

Truthfully, I haven’t liked my work profile picture for a while now, but I kept waiting to take the “right” photo… until today. And today I thought… no 💁🏼‍♀️

I actually LOVE this picture because it represents who I really am right now. Someone who is completely comfortable with people seeing exactly what I look like in the real world.

And honestly, if someone doesn’t want to work with me based on looks alone, then they probably aren’t the right fit for me either 🤍

I rarely wear suits or traditional workwear. I love fashion, dressing up, and expressing myself — so this is me…

Let me reintroduce myself, I’m Harriette and have been providing mortgage and protection advice for nearly 12 years now.

Prior to that I worked for an estate agent for a good 5 years as a negotiator. Then finally starting out my years in the banking world at the, then Derbyshire Building Society (Now merged to Nationwide BS).

Interest Rate Cut Alert!

The Bank of England has reduced the base rate to 4% — the lowest level since March 2023.

Bank of England edges closer to summer cut!

The Bank of England boss has said he was “optimistic that things are moving in the right direction” as rates were held at 5.25% at the BOE’s latest monetary policy committee meeting.
If inflation continues to fall as expected it would pave the way for an interest rate cute as early as June, although August/September seems to be the most likely timing.

With the BOE interest rate currently at their highest level for 16 years, possible upcoming reductions would be welcomed by mortgage holders.
