The Co-operative Bank is currently experiencing technical issues, causing delays to transactions we are processing through the bank, including member withdrawals. The issue is affecting all credit unions that use The Co-operative Bank’s platform.

Our online banking service is temporarily unavailable while the Co-op works to resolve the issue.

The Co-operative Bank is working to restore its services as soon as possible. We are ready to process all outstanding transactions as soon as the system is restored.

We are continuing to experience technical issues with The Co-operative Bank, our third-party banking provider. The Co-op is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

This is a wider issue affecting Co-op customers, rather than an issue specific to Boom Community Bank. The issue has been affecting transactions since 4:00pm on Friday, meaning some transactions and withdrawals have not yet been processed.

As a result, our online banking facility will be temporarily unavailable while these issues are being resolved. Members will not be able to access online banking during this period.

We are working closely with the Co-op and will restore the service as soon as it is safe and fully operational. Any outstanding withdrawals and transactions will be processed and sent to members as soon as possible.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while this issue is resolved.

At Boom Community Bank, we know that sometimes you need to know quickly whether your loan has been approved – and, if it is, when you can expect your money.

✅ Approved: The following morning
📄 Documents sent & returned: The following morning
💷 Loan prepared for payment: That morning
⏱️ Funds due: By lunchtime*

That’s less than a day from application to having the funds on their way.

Of course, every application is different and we can’t guarantee the same timescale. We still carry out our responsible affordability checks and may sometimes need additional information.

But when we have everything we need, our team can move quickly and efficiently.
