Our team is actively monitoring the situation throughout this evening. As soon as banking services are fully restored, we will process all pending payments to members' accounts as quickly as possible.

We're looking for 2-3 Volunteer Non-Executive Directors to join our Board and support the continued success of Wolverhampton City Credit Union.

No previous Board experience is required. We're looking for people who:

✅ Care about their community
✅ Can bring fresh ideas and perspectives
✅ Want to learn and develop new skills
✅ Are passionate about helping others

As we approach our Financial Year End, please be advised that the last transaction processing time today will be 1:30pm.

⚠️ Our systems will then be unavailable for transaction processing until 1st October 2026.

To ensure any payments, withdrawals, or transfers are completed and reach accounts on time, we strongly recommend submitting your requests before 1:00pm today.

✅ Transactions received before 1:00pm will be processed in time for the final payment run.

Unfortunately, we are still experiencing issues with The Co-operative Bank's digital banking services, which remain unavailable due to ongoing technical issues with their system upgrade. We are awaiting further updates while they work to resolve the matter.

Digital Banking Is Still Unavailable

Unfortunately, we are still experiencing issues with The Co-operative Bank's digital banking services, which remain unavailable due to ongoing technical issues with their system upgrade. We are awaiting further updates while they work to resolve the matter.

We would like to sincerely apologise for the continued disruption to our services today.

Unfortunately, the Co-operative Bank's business banking platform remains unavailable, and as a result, we are still unable to process member transactions. The outage has been ongoing since this morning and, despite our efforts to monitor the situation throughout the day, the service has not yet been restored.

We completely understand the frustration and concern this may cause, particularly for members who are waiting for payments or transfers to be processed. Please be assured that this issue is entirely outside of Wolverhampton City Credit Union's control.

Although it is now outside normal business hours, I will continue to personally monitor the Co-operative Bank's system throughout the evening and will take action as soon as banking services are available again. Our priority is to process all outstanding transactions as quickly as possible once the system is restored.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. We appreciate your concerns and will provide further updates as soon as we have any news.
