Acrylic vs. Metal Chrome Dentures: What’s the difference? 💡

Standard dentures are usually made entirely from acrylic (the pink resin material). While acrylic is versatile, it needs to be made relatively thick to prevent snapping, which can feel bulky on the roof of your mouth.

A Metal Chrome Denture (model on the left) uses a lightweight metal alloy framework instead:

• Stronger & Much Thinner: Because the metal is so strong, it can be cast ultra-thin across the palate, taking up far less room in your mouth ✨

• Enjoy Hot & Cold Drinks: Acrylic acts as an insulator, blocking temperature. Metal naturally conducts temperature, letting you feel the warmth of tea or the cool of ice cream on your palate ☕

• More Comfort & Taste: Less coverage on the palate means eating, speaking, and tasting feel much more natural 👄

Thinking about upgrading from standard acrylic to a lighter, stronger metal chrome fit? Pop into our lab in Bilston Town Centre or give us a call to learn more!

A lovely update from a patient, Andy, who came to visit us all and way from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It's more than just business for us, it's real connection with real people. We're so happy we can help people, and we're grateful for everyone that leaves a review, sends a card, or simply pops in to say hello after they've been to see us previously.

Not all of our patients are on Google or know how to leave a review for us. We get lots of nice thank yous in person and some people go out of their way to bring in cards and it means the world to us ❤️

They are on display for everyone to see.

Thank you, Josie. We're glad we could be of service.

What a lovely review 🥰

As a service operated business, people only use our services when they need us (which isn't always). It means when business is quiet, we do question whether we're doing enough, whether people know who we are, and where we are.

This lovely review from Harry shows us how important it is to be present both online and in person. Bilston is our home, and we're so glad we could open our lab here where people need us ❤️

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Harry. We're happy we could be there when you needed us.
