Will your insurance policy provide this level of cover?

One of our client's was responsible for damaging the windows and bi-fold doors on a new build property.

The glass was floor to ceiling almost and had been sourced from Italy. The replacement cost including labour was over £130,000.

Thankfully for our client, he had taken out a policy with us that included damage to the item being worked on. This cover IS NOT a standard feature of 95% of insurance policies offered to the cleaning industry.

Had he taken out a policy with an online comparison site he would have been paying that claim himself. Maybe he would have had to sell or remortgage his house. Whether his insurance policy covered the loss or not wouldn't have mattered. He would have still been liable.

Can you imagine having that happen to you? It would give you sleepless nights that's for sure. It would probably be the end for your business. Who would offer you work if your insurance didn't pay claims that you had caused?
