Experienced Insolvency Administrator – Join Our Team at Focus Insolvency Group
We are seeking an experienced Insolvency Administrator to join our well-established corporate insolvency team at Focus Insolvency Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an insolvency professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
About the Role
As an Insolvency Administrator, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, predominantly Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs) and Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs). You will oversee cases from inception to closure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Case Management – Handle a portfolio of CVLs, MVLs, and other corporate insolvency cases from start to finish.
✔ Stakeholder Communication – Liaise with directors, creditors, shareholders, and stakeholders both pre- and post-appointment.
✔ Legal Liaison – Work closely with solicitors to obtain legal advice on antecedent transactions and potential claims.
✔ Investigations & Compliance – Conduct investigations into company actions leading up to insolvency and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
✔ Report Preparation – Draft statutory reports, Statements of Affairs, Estimated Outcome Statements, and other regulatory documentation.
✔ Meetings & Representation – Attend director, shareholder, and creditor meetings when required.
✔ Regulatory & Administrative Duties – Respond promptly to formal communications and ensure the smooth administration of insolvency cases.
Skills & Experience Required
🔹 Corporate insolvency experience preferred – However, candidates with a personal insolvency background looking to transition will also be considered.
🔹 Strong communication skills – Ability to engage with directors, creditors, and legal professionals in a professional and supportive manner.
🔹 Excellent time management & organisational skills – Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines efficiently.
🔹 Numerate with keen attention to detail – Strong analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and case administration.
