Please don’t wait until you’re current deal is up but call Matt 12 or even 24 months in advance as you have options including some lenders who offer 6 month mortgage offers and some who will even let you reserve products before submitting a full application.

In the current climate it may even be worth paying Early Repayment Charges to exit your current deal and secure a new rate now rather than waiting.
