Get to know the 3Nines team!! Next up is Lloyd, one of our advisers⬇️⬇️

Lloyd's role within 3Nines is to listen and understand officers and their family's finances, circumstances, goals, and opportunities and give them guidance and support in making the best possible decisions about their financial planning.

Lloyd’s favourite thing working with police officers is helping a large group of extremely valued people make great decisions around their finances - that's what makes him "tick"!✅

Outside of work, Lloyd enjoys spending time with his wife, Gina, and two (soon to be three!!!!!) children, Sienna and Marlowe, and their bear-sized dog, Walter, who has been known on occasions to pop in on meetings. This could involve going on wholesome dog walks, days out, and holidays!🦮🏖️

Get to know the 3Nines team!! Next up is Dave, one of our advisers⬇️⬇️

Dave is a financial adviser first and has specialist knowledge in police pensions, which he uses within the 3Nines Team. A key area he works in is reviewing clients' existing and old workplace pensions and assisting with their consolidation. One day every week, Dave runs meetings with police officers who are considering retirement to help them understand how their police pensions work.

Dave's favourite part of his role is helping people. He enjoys meeting new people, understanding their financial objectives, and explaining the options available to them. Dave says it is a great feeling to build a new professional relationship with the client and have those touch points🤝

Dave has young children, and when he is not working, his main focus is spending time with his family and making lots of great memories🛝🎪

Ellie's day-to-day tasks include monitoring enquiries sent in, allocating meetings to our team of advisers, managing data, and building relationships with you. She likes how varied her tasks can be and, of course, working with the lovely Rob.

Outside of work, Ellie is a festival and gig go-er with her partner, Chris. On her quieter weekends, she enjoys a glass of prosecco while getting lost in a good book🎉📖

Although you can opt out of your police pension scheme, knowing what it means to you and your circumstances is important🤨

Of course, more monthly income can be attractive, especially when retirement seems so far away, but there are some benefits that you will lose by opting out - death in service, ill health retirement benefits, employer contributions and tax relief - just to name a few!!

So, if you are thinking about opting out, please just remember what benefits you could be losing that may make a huge difference in the long run!

Get to know the 3Nines team!! Next up is Eva our Marketing Executive⬇️⬇️

Eva manages the marketing side of 3Nines, including social media, events and relationships💬

Day to day, Eva keeps up to date with the recent police pension trending questions (with help from the advisers) to keep you informed and generally oversees the 3Nines team. Eva enjoys learning about the police community and trying to understand the difficult rules of the pension - failing miserably the majority of the time🫣

Outside of work, Eva enjoys motorsport, a good series, food and spending time with her partner, Charlie, along with their furry companion, Broco🏎️🐶

We'd love for you all to meet our fantastic 3Nines team! To kick this series off, we sat down with the main man📝

Rob Heath is a retired police officer who found his next calling as a financial adviser. Rob has dedicated most of his financial adviser career to helping ex-colleagues understand their finances, resulting in founding 3Nines Financial Planning🚔

Rob's role is to speak to officers from around the country to help them understand how their police pensions work, what is best for them, and how to put a financial plan in place. He oversees the 3Nines team regarding pension updates and training and delivers Resettlement Courses and presentations across the various police areas🗣️

Police pensions are complex, so the best part of Rob's job is having the opportunity to explain it in much simpler terms, so officers go from being left in the dark to having a much more transparent plan for them🎯

Rob's main hobby is playing golf, which he tries to do at least once a week. He also gets to the gym when time (and motivation!) allows⛳️🏋🏻‍♂️
