Top 8 in the UK… we’ll take that 🏆

It wasn’t a win for us tonight, but hearing CJ Mortgage Hub announced on that stage (by ) as one of the final 8 for Best Customer Service was a pretty special moment.

We were up against some seriously impressive and well-established businesses from across the country, and considering we’ve literally just celebrated our 3rd birthday, we’re incredibly proud to have made it that far 🙌🏼

Customer service has always been such a huge part of what we do, so to be recognised nationally for it means a lot to the whole team.

One more full day at the National Entrepreneur Convention tomorrow before we head back to Weymouth.

Day 1 of the National Entrepreneur Convention done! 🤠

It’s Wild West themed this year… which explains the decor 😂🌵

We’ve had a really interesting day listening to talks from James Ashford, Rory Sutherland and Alexandra Depledge, plus an incredible and pretty emotional talk from John Volanthen, one of the British cave divers involved in the Tham Luang cave rescue in 2018.

We’ve picked up some really useful ideas (and filled plenty of notes!) that we’re looking forward to taking back home and putting into practice at CJ.

And somehow, amongst thousands of people here in Birmingham, we managed to bump into fellow Weymouth business owner Hayden from Wafflicious 😂 Small world! Especially considering he was serving up waffles at our birthday party only two nights ago!

And tonight it’s awards time! 🏆

We’re up for Best Customer Service against some brilliant and very established businesses, so we’re under no illusion that we’re walking away with it 😂 Just being shortlisted nationally after only three years in business is pretty cool in itself.

But you never know… 🤞🏼

Last week Chris headed along to the Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce Summer Social at Bacaro for an evening of good food, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, catching up with some familiar faces and meeting some new ones too!
