Having children has completely brought out my inner child again 🥰 I absolutely love how they make you slow down and appreciate the smallest, simplest things in life.

I've decided that for every seasonal event, we're going to make a few decorations together for our little tree, hopefully something we can keep adding to year after year 🤍

"I want to keep the house, but I'm scared I can't afford it." 🏡

This is such a real fear in divorce.
The family home can feel like safety, especially when children are involved. It's familiar., it's stable and it holds memories.

It can feel like the one thing you don't want to lose when everything else is changing.
But keeping the house needs to work in real life too.

🏠 Can you afford the mortgage?
💷 The bills?
🛠️The repairs?
📄 The insurance?
🛒 The day-to-day costs of living there?

Because losing the house does not mean you've failed, and keeping it at any cost does not always mean you're secure.

Real security is having a life you can afford, breathe in and rebuild from.

What does liquidity mean in divorce and why is it important for your client? 💷

Liquidity is one of those financial words that can sound more complicated than it is to your client. Put simply, it means how easily your client can access money when they need it. (I'll apologise now as I'm very aware I'm likely teaching you to suck eggs here!)

For example, cash in a bank account is liquid because they can use it quickly.
A house, pension or investment may still be valuable, but they are not always easy to access straight away, and during divorce, that matters.

Because a settlement is not just about how much something is worth on paper.
It is about whether their finances can support their real life.

Here's a little snippet from one of the videos I recorded for the final Blueprint module.

When I was creating The True Divorce Blueprint, I thought a lot about the women who would be working through it.

Women who may have started the programme feeling scared, overwhelmed or completely unsure about their finances. I really wanted the final part of the Blueprint to give them space to pause and realise how far they've come.
