As we near the end of another busy farm payment scheme application season, it’s a good moment to reflect.
This year has been a little different, with the transition to a new scheme bringing more complex decisions for our NFUCymru members.
We’re incredibly proud of how the whole team has supported our members through it.
A special mention to Amy, our newest team member, who took on the important task of contacting members, organising appointments and making sure everyone had what they needed — supported by India, who brought her experience from last year.
Thank you also to the wider team for creating such a warm welcome in the office - plenty of cups of tea, coffee and biscuits keeping everyone going!
And of course, to Grug, our CountyAdviser, for the dedication and time spent with each member - often working through detailed applications over several hours to make sure everything was right.
It’s always a busy time of year, but one we genuinely value - having the opportunity to catch up with members, support them through important decisions, and welcome them into the office.
