Happy new year everyone!

As you know, mortgage rates haven’t been too great in the last year! Well, if you’ve not been paying a lot of attention you wouldn’t realise that they’ve been dropping quite considerably. In fact, since 2024 began they are at their lowest since the mini-budget. Some are even below 4% now (depending on loan to value). If your mortgage rate is due within the next 6 months now may be a great time to consider getting something locked in and ready.

It’s been a worrying couple of weeks (or months) in the mortgage market as most people are aware.

If you’re current deal is due to end anytime in the next 6 months then you should be able to secure a new deal now whilst rates are at their lowest.

If rates decrease within that 6 months then you can amend your offer to the new rate. If they go up then you can be safe in the knowledge you got the best deal for you.

I spoke to coach Neil and he updated me that Warsash Wasps U8's have had a great start to 2022, with 3 wins and a draw in their last 6 matches. He thinks they are making some great progress.
