The UofG FinTech Society is for students interested in the application of technological innovations in the financial sector and beyond.

The FinTech society is for students of any degree who are interested in the application of technological innovations not only into the financial sector, but also well beyond finance. The society aims to develop knowledge of FinTech-related topics (such as blockchain and digital currencies) among students, and gives them opportunities to develop useful employability skills too. This is achieved by student’s cross-faculty collaboration and engagement with industry professionals. UofG FinTech Society is the first student-led FinTech society in Scotland.

The Fintech Society shall be hosting its Annual General Meeting to decide the 2023/24 board on Thursday 23rd March.

All students at UofG are welcome to apply for a society role however we suggest you prepare a quick introduction explaining a bit about yourself and your motivations for applying for the position (no more than 2 mins) before joining the online meeting!

There are many positions up for grabs so please don’t be shy about applying and feel free to get in touch or visit our website elections page for full descriptions of each role on offer.
