It is with heavy hearts that we share some deeply sad news.

Our cofounder, colleague and cherished friend, David Summers, passed away peacefully on 9th August following a short illness.

David was so much more than a financial adviser, colleague and cofounder, he was family. Everything he did was guided by a genuine love for the people around him and that warmth and care extended to every one of you that he worked with.

The relationships he built were rarely just professional, they were heartfelt and mattered deeply to him until his very last moments.

His loss leaves a space that cannot be filled but the values he lived by, kindness, integrity and a true dedication to the people he looked after will continue to be at the heart of everything we do. David’s spirit will always be a part of SeventySeven.

We continue to be here for you just as he, and we, have always been, but for now our thoughts are with David’s loving wife Vannessa and his family.

They, and we, are truly touched by the kindness and warmth so many of you have already shown us during this time. It means so much.

It is with heavy hearts that we share some deeply sad news.

Our cofounder, colleague and cherished friend, David Summers, passed away peacefully on 9th August following a short illness.
