One week until my TEDx talk🎤

It turns out that after decades of speaking English competently, all it takes is preparing for a TEDx Talk to completely forget how language works...

For reasons I can't explain, whenever I try to say certain words, this is now what comes out:

❌ Meaningful → Meaningfuel

❌ Shrink → Shwink

And my personal favourite…

❌ Partnerships → Parsnerships

I've rewritten parts of the talk because there are some phrases I apparently cannot be trusted to say under pressure 😂

One week to go.

The good news: I know the content.

The bad news: The English language remains under review🎤

It's 2 weeks until my TEDx Talk - Where has the time gone? 😱

I'm now trying to memorise a 14 minute talk without my brain immediately replacing all the words with “ummm".

It’s hard to believe it was a year ago that I opened my very own office 🏢

After sharing a space with an excellent accountancy business for a number of years, taking the step to go out on my own felt like a big move - but one that has genuinely paid off.
