*Marathon Des Sables Update*

He did it !!!! Andrew is on his way home after completing the epic Ultramarathon Des Sables on Friday ! What a fantastic achievement and for such a great cause. *Marathon Des Sables Update*
Woohoo ! Andrew has completed Stage 5 and therefore received his medal with Stage 6 being a 7km trot to bring this fantastic event to a close. What an achievement by Andrew in both completing the event and raising much needed funds for such a worthy cause!

*Marathon Des Sables Stage 5 Update*
At 7am Andrew started what is effectively the last Marathon of the event with a 42.2KM trek from JEBEL EL MRAÏER to MERDANI. He is just over half way there now and will hopefully reach the finish line in 3 hours time, fingers are crossed! * Marathon Des Sables Stage 4 Update*
He did it!!! Andrew has finished the mammoth 86.2 KM Stage 4 of the MDS in 17H 35M 47S which is a fantastic effort considering a quarter of the competitiors are still going over 24 hours since the start! Andrew started out at 8.15 yesterday morning and finished just after 1 am this morning and now gets a deserved rest before Stage 5 tomorrow with a 40km trek ahead of him :) Please continue to support Andrew and indeed the charity, Childrens Hospice South West via the following link:-

* Marathon Des Sables Stage 4 Update *
Stage 4 of the MDS takes Andrew on a mammoth 86.2 KM trek from NORTH EL MAHARCH to JEBEL EL MRAÏER later this afternoon and overnight. This stage is the longest and toughest stage in the event and fingers crossed Andrew can get through to leave just two more stages!! You can follow his progress via the below link (Bib 548)

Andrew has just completed Stage 3 in a time of 5H 15M 2S to reach the halfway point and will now rest up ahead of the mammoth 84KM Stage 4 ! A great effort today !

* Marathon Des Sables Update Stage 3*

Today Andrew embarks on a 31.6KM stage from RICH MBIRIKA
to NORTH EL MAHARCH where once finished he will have reached the halfway stage! Fingers are firmly crossed! Feedback thus far from Mr Morris is that he's alive, hurting but feeling strong! See below for a review of Stage 2 from the MDS website....
