Meet the Team: Rob Hogg

🐒Some fun facts about Rob: he's a "keen but shocking golfer (and getting worse with age)", a "disgruntled Sheffield United supporter," and once fell victim to a pair of monkeys in Thailand who stole his beer and Pringles.

👂He describes himself as a "down-to-earth northern bloke, personable and helpful," and believes that listening and understanding customers' specific needs is key to delivering real value.

🦺Rob's biggest achievement so far was surviving the heat at Hillhead expo and joining in with the locals' Morris dancing celebrations!

🤝What he enjoys most about the Compass team is our relationship-driven philosophy with customers: "it sits at the core of the business and breathes through the team, making it a refreshing environment".

💡Rob has had a fantastic first three months at Compass, bringing over 26 years of experience as a Finance Director to our sales team. His deep understanding of the customer perspective helps build strong relationships founded on trust, expertise, and genuine understanding.

⛳ Recently we had the pleasure of hosting our very first Engineering Industry Golf Day, bringing together customers and partners for a fantastic day on the Hever course. We'd like to say huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a memorable success.

With temperatures soaring into the 30s, it was a fantastic opportunity to step away from the office, strengthen relationships, and enjoy valuable networking in a relaxed setting. Of course, the friendly competition added an extra layer of excitement and plenty of laughs along the way!

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an enjoyable day. Your support means a great deal, and we're already looking forward to making the Engineering Compass Golf Day a much-anticipated annual tradition.

At the beginning of July, we hosted our Annual Print Sector Golf Day for our industry contacts, and what a fantastic day it was! ⛳️☀️ A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success.

We were certainly lucky with the weather, which provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with great conversations, friendly competition, and plenty of fun.

Hillhead Day 2 has been another fantastic day - and tomorrow is your last chance to visit us at Stand PC37 and grab a Compass keyring!

It’s been great meeting so many visitors at our stand in the Showground Pavilion, as well as catching up with partners across the site. The sunshine has made it even better.
