7 years today š¤
Seven years of business.
& as I write that, Iām sat with my laptop during the summer holidays, juggling work around three children, family life and a few days WFHā¦
Also means āWorking From Holidayā šļø
Because this laptop travels worldwide with me š
& so does my 4am body clock and early starts š
Even when weāre away, Iāll be up before the sun, laptop open, getting a few hours in while our three children sleep.
But that really sums up what these seven years have been about.
I didnāt build a business to escape my life.
I built a business that fits around the life I wanted and will continue to make, whilst seeing the world with my team.
A business that allowed me to be a mum, a wife, a friend, to be present for the important things and still be ambitious about what I wanted to create.
It has provided for my family, taken us around the world and brought some bloody amazing people into my life, through clients into friends, meeting people in networking circles who just get it. Forever grateful for the people Iāve met.
Iāve worked with incredible clients, supported businesses through huge decisions and taught so many business owners & college students to the importance of understanding the financial side of business.
Iāve always believed in the 7-year rule.
If you make it to seven years and still love what you do, itās the forever plan ā¾ļø
Well⦠here we are.
With absolutely no intention of stopping.
The next chapter is about growing what Iāve built and creating more spaces to help people understand their money, in business and in their personal lives.
To challenge money mindsets.
To make better financial choices.
And ultimately, to build businesses that do what they were supposed to do in the first placeā¦
Support and fund the life you actually want to live.
Seven years of early mornings, motherhood, learning, growing, supporting, teaching and figuring it out as I went.
And through all of it, one thing hasnāt changed:
I bloody love what I do. š¤
Hereās to year 8.
& to building the forever plan š„
