Every career journey is different and Elena's is a great example of how changing direction can lead to new opportunities.

After graduating, Elena was working part-time at McDonald's when she joined Wescot in 2018 as a Customer Consultant in our Utilities team.

Since then, Elena has experienced some significant life moments, including becoming a mum. Following a difficult pregnancy and maternity leave, we're proud that we were able to support her during that time. Returning to work, Elena took the next step in her career by successfully applying for a Team Leader role, where she continues to thrive today.

Elena's journey shows that careers don't always follow the path you first expect and that's okay.

We're looking forward to seeing where her career at Wescot takes her next.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome the team from Money Wellness to one of our Skills 4 Bills sessions.

Through interactive activities and discussions, pupils learn the fundamentals of budgeting, helping them understand the impact of everyday spending decisions and develop positive money habits that can support their financial wellbeing in the future.

It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm from the pupils, with plenty of great questions and engagement throughout the session.

A huge thank you to Money Wellness for joining us and supporting this important initiative.
