The Alpha CD range has and will always leak from this diverter valve stem. Alpha even included a little sump to collect the water with a handy earth point screw to empty it.
Tiny little o ring wears out after about 4 years, hardly surprising really as it travels back and forth so many times per year.

This is on a boiler we fitted 13 years ago and like most of our customers they have maintained their service contract with us since installation.

Service contract customer returned back to us from British Gas last year.

Call out last week to drips from pressure relief pipe outside.
Diagnosed faulty expansion vessel and Pressure Relief Valve*.

Bigger job than usual on a Worcester boiler over 3 years old but we’re not scared 😳.
Easier to take boiler off the wall when in a garage, also discovered a very nearly blocked vessel feed pipe.
New vessel and PRV* fitted with an inhibitor level top up. All parts from PH Boiler Spares Ltd at Stafford Park 15.

Then good to go after a 2 hour turn around.

Note : No excess cost to the customer with all parts and labour covered by there small monthly payment.

2 days and 2 large 3 storey town houses.
1st one had faulty thermostats on 2 radiators.
Rather than drain down the full system I utilised our Freeze kit as these properties have proven to air lock in the past.
2nd house had the bottom floor heating zone not working. As suspected the motorised valve on the top floor had failed. Quickly replaced and toastie again.

Both customers called and had the work rectified same day and did not have to pay any excess costs as we do not charge our customers any extra.

Needless to say 2 very happy customers who have been loyal to us for over 5 years each.

Heating insurance from only £10 per month, can you afford not to have cover!

The big switch on this year has resulted in many older systems being a little stubborn.

We can blame the decorator for this one though, he was last one to open this up. 🤠 ye-ha!

Aswell as this I found loose wires on the Midposition Valve and the Cylinder stat faulty.
Then once it was all working the old clock gave up.
Popping back Monday to replace with a new digital
one.

No additional cost to the customer.

Boiler down time has been avoided for our customer, during the annual boiler inspection and service the boiler condensate trap has filled with aluminium scale deposits from within the heat exchanger and was close to being blocked!.

Very common on modern boilers and if left will result in condensation backing up into the boiler and preventing it firing.

The boiler service for our customers is so important for maintaining the efficiency of the boiler and smooth running for the year ahead.

This customer pays only £14 a month for this peace of mind and also receives maintenance cover for the rest of the heating, plumbing and drain system in the property with -
ZERO excess costs
ZERO labour costs
ZERO material costs

Nice view from the office today, new boiler installed for a valued customer.
Always begins with a Power Flush.
We have invested heavily in the correct tools for the job so with Dual magnetic filters as std we can assure the water quality from day one.

Quick fix spotted on the last boiler service , all covered on the service contract with no excess charges.
Cheeky top up on the system inhibitor level also to keep things running smoothly.

Work completed in one of the many park homes we look after in Telford.

Leaky boiler

Old combi boilers can get a little leaky in there old age. The boiler service today on a 15 year old Alpha resulted in a new integral filling loop and a flow sensor for the hot water.

Both genuine Alpha parts weighed in at over £100 combined but for our wonderful customer on their service contract this is all Free of charge including the additional labour.

A lot achieved on a morning visit to one of our wonderful customers.

I have managed to repair a weeping drain C**k that was very close to a beautiful real wood floor, then I replaced a faulty thermostatic radiator valve in a bedroom before topping up the air in the boiler expansion vessel and then replenished the system inhibitor level to complete the job.

And as it’s , I oiled the front door for the customer to prove what a lovely bunch we are.

All costs covered on the customers low monthly premium of their service contract.

We have many New Build home owners with a Service Contract from ourselves. Did you know developers only provide boilers with a 2 years manufacturers warranty as that is the minimum requirement by the properties NHBC warranty.

Boiler cover, parts and labour aswell as the yearly service from as little as £14 a month.
