There is a lot of turbulence currently in the news with lenders changing rates and withdrawing products - as an assurance there is still plenty of deals out there both for purchase and remortgage with lenders especially supporting first time buyers - all be it with higher rates and tighter lending controls in place.
Remortgage - if your current deal is due to come to an end in the next 6 months it may be a good time to sit down and have a chat about what the current options are - mortgage offers are valid for 6 months so if rates continue to rise you may be able to secure a rate at this point.
