Goodbye October hello November 😃

The biggest veterinary show in the UK opens its doors in a few weeks and we can't wait to be a part of it once again.

Keith our MD, caught up with vets Anira Gandhi and Matt Plumtree last week and had a look around their beautifully appointed new practice Kenilworth Vets, which opened in the summer.

Shire were very pleased to help Anira and Matt raise the money and advise them on the insurance and financial products that were necessary to open their business in .

Another veterinary practice expansion loan!

Shire have been instrumental in arranging the finance for the development of Live Well Vets Llantrisant, extended their reach into Caerphilly.

Practice owner Greg Elliott has been fulsome in his praise for the Shire team and Martin Leake at Unity Trust Bank.

'Martin has shown an understanding of veterinary finance which is refreshing in this modern banking age. I would particularly like to thank Keith Dickinson for being consistently on hand, to answer our many questions about this project.

We are delighted to have been able to help with the funding for an EOT 👏

Shire were approached by Mike Probert vet and director at Brookend Vets Essex, to support his ambition of setting up an Employee Ownership Trust.

The care of his employees has been a crucial element in his plan to establish a clear pathway of succession.

Unity Trust Bank has been of huge assistance to the enterprise, most notably because of the banks degree of expertise in this relatively new concept of veterinary practice ownership.

There's more than one way to open a new veterinary practice!

Practice owner and vet Sinead teamed up with Vetcentric to open her new practice Ocean City Vets in Plymouth.

On a tour of the South West, Graham Scott our finance consultant dropped in to visit another of our start up clients.

"Sinead and her team have done a wonderful job of creating a very welcoming surgery. As one of the only independent vets in Plymouth, the practice is already attracting large numbers of clients, which is no surprise. My thanks to Sinead and her team for their kind hospitality during my visit."
