A client recently told us that friends had been saying they were paying too much for their insurance.

The funny thing is, insurance advice is a bit like dieting advice — everyone’s suddenly an expert! 😂

But comparing insurance between businesses can be really misleading. A boutique salon, for example, has completely different risks and responsibilities to a car wash. Different equipment, different customers, different liabilities… so the cover needs to be different too.

Back in 2006, Prizm was just getting started… and the online world looked very different 👀

Twitter had only just launched 🐦
Facebook was still mostly for students 🎓
And “going viral” usually meant you needed a week off work.

While social media was finding its feet, Prizm was beginning its own journey — and somehow, 20 years later, we’re both still here (although thankfully with fewer blurry profile pictures).

It’s mad to think how much has changed since 2006… but one thing that hasn’t is our passion for helping businesses protect what matters most 💙
