I have not posted for a little while now as the business has seen the numbers of IFA’s within the firm grow by the addition of Neil Marshall, John King & Graeme Richardson joining the practice on the 1st of October. The guys have worked with me for between 25 and nearly 34 years and bring a wealth of experience and professionalism to the business.

I would like to wish them all the success in the coming months as they transition over.

Finally some great news in that today Abbie Taylor successfully passed the Regulation & Ethics exam to commence her training programme to become an Independent Financial Adviser within the practice.

It’s been a very busy week within the Practice with a new member of staff joining us to help with the compilation of our Investment & Pension review documentation that is provided to all our clients at a yearly health check of their financial situation.

I would like to wish Abbie Taylor all the success she richly deserves and after just 3 working days of experience is already showing what a positive contribution she will no doubt add.

It’s been a little while since my last post however I wanted everyone to know about the achievements of James Wood in passing not one but five mortgage exams last week.

This is a fantastic effort and will now see James shadow Lois-Eryn Kirkbride in mortgage appointments to see the knowledge he has now gained be demonstrated to the benefit of both existing and new clients.

James will now go through a period of practical assessments and observations to prove he has the competency to provide Independent Mortgage & Protection Advice.

I am sure everyone would want wish James all the success he deserves as he builds a successful business within our Independent Financial Advice Practice.

Today is my last day being part of Birchwood IFA Ltd and will see our own family run practice open to existing and new clients tomorrow.

It has been a long and difficult journey this last year in putting everything in place so that we are in a position to provide a seamless transition for everyone involved.

This new venture is giving 2 young people the same opportunity I was given over 33 years ago and I am sure you will all support Lois-Eryn Kirkbride & James Wood in being successful in the future.
