I have just seen a post today that an estate agent charged one of their clients £150 for an information sheet on the Renters reform act which comes into effect 1st May. Any current or prospective landlords need to be aware of the act which has some drastic changes and gives tenants more rights than they currently have on various aspects. There is a free information sheet available on the government web site. Definitely worth a read. Although the post was complaining about the fee I would definitely recommend taking advice and using a letting agent where possible. Worth losing a bit of profit in the short term and passing on a headache to someone that is in the industry and fully understands the changes.

The war in Iran has completely shifted how we’re advising on mortgages here in the UK 🤯
