Still recovering from Oak Fest 2026! 🕺✨Such an amazing day filled with incredible live music, great drinks, and brilliant company. The singers were top-tier and the atmosphere was unmatched. Same time next year? 🍻

Yesterday was everything we hoped Oakfest would be for our community. Gorgeous weather, a fabulous circus cast, laughter, excellent music, a talented bunch of local makers and lots and lots of families making memories together.

But whilst everyone was enjoying the day, Oakley was at home with his dad, too unwell to come to his own event. He had a difficult day with lots of seizures, and after packing everything away, I went straight home to take over caring for him.
It's hard to put into words how heartbreaking that feels.

The contrast between the joy on the field and the reality waiting at home couldn't have been more obvious. And it's exactly why we do this.

Oakfest has never just been about a fun day out. Every raffle ticket, every donation and every pound raised is helping to fund the specialist therapies, equipment and opportunities that give Oakley the best possible chance to continue making progress.

We are proud to continue to support our little friend Oakley! 🩷

Oakfest 2026 is this Saturday at The Cricketers Pub, Weston (SG4 7DA), and it is shaping up to be our biggest family fun day fundraiser yet! 🎪✨

We hope to see you all there enjoying your day while we raise vital funds for 3-year-old Oakley’s specialist therapy and equipment.

• Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Entry: FREE entry for the whole family! (All-day activity wristbands available on arrival).

• Circus Big Top: Incredible live shows and workshops throughout the day from Circus Pazaz! (Secure your circus show tickets online).

• Family Fun: Massive inflatable obstacle courses, bouncy castles, mega slides, and face painting.

• Pop-Up Market: Browse a large selection of crafts and goods from local makers.
• Fundraising Games: Adult and children's tombolas, a giant raffle, and "prize-every-time" games.

Good news today — the Bank of England has kept the Base Rate at 3.75% 📉✨

From tomorrow (1st May), the Renters' Rights Act 2026 comes into force 🏡📘

Some High Street lenders have increased fixed rates over the last few days. Today the Bank of England have kept the base rate at 3.75%.
