DS Recycling - Partnership We are Recycling reusable Clothes and Shoes through our clothing banks to raise funds for the charity Against Breast Cancer (Reg charity number 1121258)

We are working alongside the charity 'Against Breast Cancer' in raising funds through our textile clothing banks. Every year in the UK about 1.5 million tonnes of unwanted clothing ends up in landfill sites. The clothing will be sold to raise vital funds that are needed to continue the research into improving early detection and increasing survival rates after breast cancer diagnosis. The Clothing

Bank is a revolutionary charity recycling plan that triples the value of your donation when compared with traditional door to door collections. The Clothing Bank scheme is completely free to use. If you are looking to hosting a clothing bank you'll have no environmental concerns with this scheme. When you request a Clothes Bank, you will be saving the clothes from going into landfill sites, you will support the small businesses in the UK, Europe and Africa who resell them, and you'll be raising vital funds for breast cancer research. ■ Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer, it claims the lives of over 30 women every day.

■ Annually around 50,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s more than 130 women daily.

■ An estimated 27% of female breast cancers are linked to lifestyle factors.

■ Around 350 men were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011

We are looking for more sites for our clothing banks to raise funds for the charity the clothing bank supports.

You can use our charities we work with or your own.

We currently work alongside 'Against Breast Cancer' and 'The Childrens Air Ambulance'

If you find sites for our banks we pay you per site once the clothing bank has been placed. We are looking for private land sites such as small shops, schools, village halls, community centres, leisure centres etc. There is no limit to how many sites you find if you are looking for regular income.
