He's got nine lives 🐈‍⬛ You've got one.

My cat lands on his feet every time. Most of us don't get that luxury, so it's worth making sure the one life we've got is properly protected: life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection.

Not sure what you've got or whether it's enough? Send me a message with the word COVER and I'll happily take a look with you 💗

Husband Quiz, Part 2: I tested my husband on our life insurance again… and he failed 😅

Q1: Cancer, then you recover. Does life insurance pay out?
No. That's what critical illness cover is for. ✅ He got this one.

Q2: Can life insurance pay out while you're still alive?
He said no, but many policies can pay out early on a terminal illness diagnosis. ❌

Q3: Off work for a year. Will sick pay cover the mortgage?
No, it usually won't, which is why income protection exists. ✅

Q4: No trust in place. How fast does the family get the money?
His answer: "in a week". In reality it can take months, because it goes through probate. ❌

Final score: 2/4 😬 Re-sit next week!

Would your other half do any better? Tell me their score in the comments 👇
And if you're not sure what your own policy covers, send me a message. I'm happy to check it for you.

Imagine opening your van in the morning and every tool you need for work is gone 😳

That's exactly what happened to one of my clients. His van has already been replaced, and we're now working through replacing his tools.

If you're a tradesperson or self-employed, your van and your tools ARE your income. No tools, no work, no pay.

So here's the question 👇
Would your insurance cover both the van AND the tools inside? Overnight too?

Not sure? Message me BUSINESS and I'll check it for you 📩

Calm and professional on the outside. Doing a happy dance on the inside 😂

Nothing beats hearing that a client feels sorted. Their family is protected, their mortgage is covered, and they finally understand what they've actually got.

That's the whole job for me: making life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection feel simple, not scary.

If you've been putting off sorting your cover because it all feels confusing, you're not alone. Send me a DM and we'll go through it together, no jargon.

I quizzed my husband on OUR life insurance 😬💍

4 simple questions every couple should be able to answer:
1️⃣ How much cover do we have?
2️⃣ When does it end?
3️⃣ Who gets paid?
4️⃣ Is it in a trust?

He got 3/4… not bad, but he was £17k out on the first one 👀

Now it’s your turn 👇
Ask your partner tonight and comment their score: __ / 4

If you don’t know the answers yourself, that’s your sign to dig out your policy (or drop me a message 💗).

Did you know your employer might already give you life insurance? 👀

It’s called Death in Service benefit 💗

Some employers pay a lump sum to your loved ones if you pass away while you’re employed. It’s often a multiple of your salary. For example, 4 × a £30,000 salary = £120,000.

⚠️ But here’s the catch:
If you leave your job, that cover usually stops.

✅ My tip this week:
1. Check your employee benefits package
2. Find out exactly what you’re covered for
3. Ask yourself: is it enough for your family’s needs?

Did you know this benefit existed? Comment YES or NO 👇

📌 Save this for later and send it to someone who’s just started a new job.

Every one of these I’ve heard this month 👇

„It’s a scam.”
„It’s too expensive.”
„I’ve got it through work.”

Here’s the reality nobody talks about:

✔️ Life cover can pay a lump sum to your family when they need it most
✔️ Many policies include critical illness cover, so it can pay out while you’re still here
✔️ Death in service usually stops the day you leave that job
✔️ Losing one income can leave a family thousands short every year
✔️ Funerals in the UK can easily cost £4,000–£10,000+

You don’t buy life insurance for you. You buy it for them. 🤍

📩 DM me „COVER” and I’ll check what you’ve actually got (and what you’re missing). Free, no pressure.

Figures shown are illustrative examples only. Payouts depend on your policy, cover amount and circumstances.

Is life insurance a love language? 💛

I asked my client Silvano from and his answer stopped me in my tracks:

„It won’t replace me… but it’s the next best thing.”

For him, it’s about knowing that if something happened, his wife and daughter would have something to help replace the income he left behind.

That’s not a sales pitch. That’s love, planned ahead. 🤍

Would YOU call it a love language? Tell me below 👇

Life insurance pays if you die. But what pays the mortgage if you survive? 💗
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s talk about the money side nobody mentions. Surviving is the plan, but treatment can mean months off work while the bills keep coming.
That’s what critical illness cover is for: a lump sum, usually tax-free, if you’re diagnosed with a serious condition listed in your policy. You decide what it pays for:
🏡 the mortgage
💷 the bills
🩺 time off for treatment
🤍 time together with the people you love
✅ 2 things to check tonight:
1. Is critical illness actually included in your policy?
2. What conditions does it cover?
💬 Comment PROTECT and I’ll message you to check your cover together
📌 Save this for later and share it with someone who needs to see it
If you or someone you love is affected by cancer, Macmillan and Breast Cancer Now offer free support 💗
General information, not personal advice. Cover depends on policy terms and conditions.
