Start Afresh is a brand new, free to use debt help charity. We have recently been sent some disparaging comments and remarks from various people who do not understand what we do, what we offer, or how we can help. So, we would like to set the record straight.
Start Afresh is a charity registered in England and Wales with the Charity Commission, who regulate and us and that we are answerable to. Two of the charity Trustees, Malcolm Courcier and Christopher Bracken have almost 30 years of joint experience in helping others to overcome their debt related problems. They formed the charity to help those who could otherwise not afford it.
People ask how do we fund our work? Which is an obvious and reasonable question. We rely 100% on charitable donations for funding all the work we carry out. Without donations, we simply cannot function. We never charge any fees to any client for any debt help services, not one penny!
We have developed a robust system for managing debt accounts on behalf of our clients, as well as a web site and other associated systems. The have been paid for by funds raised by the Trustees to carry out the business of the charity.
We are here for anyone who needs the help we can offer, no matter what their background or circumstances.
