Huge shoutout to Karen Shale who has worked tirelessly to get this mortgage offered. Any of my existing clients will know Karen who supports me with everything in the background and keeps everyone updated. I couldn’t do this job without her. 👏🏻

This case has been complex and the client’s circumstances changed during the application which has meant the lender required extra documents etc and didn’t make it easy for us! 🏡

I want to congratulate my clients who completed on their purchase yesterday. Every now and then there are completions that make me feel emotional and this was one of them! It’s taken so long due to issues in the chain and I think we have all wondered if it would actually happen 🙈

Exchange of contracts was last minute on Wednesday and movers booked for yesterday morning so right down to the wire. But it happened and they are in their beautiful new home and deep down probably grateful they don’t have to speak to me again for a while 😂🏡🥳

Happy Tuesday!…I’m not saying I have a least favourite day of the week but if I was then it would be Tuesday 😂 Todays weather isn’t helping, this decking in the picture used to have furniture on it, that furniture has been blown away to sink into the bog that used to be grass 😭

Anyway that’s not the point of the post. I have been so lucky to be kept extremely busy since the start of the year, with 10 new enquiries in the last 4 days. It’s taking me slightly longer to get back to people but I’m going to be working late (and early) all this week so will normal service will be resumed.

Some good news for my clients in disappointing circumstances, the property they were buying was down valued so they were unable to proceed with the purchase. They had already paid out £879 in non refundable fees. Luckily I did their mortgage so they were covered by lifetime legal so they have been able to make a successful claim of the full amount of fees back meaning they aren’t out of pocket and can continue to look for another property.

Sometimes it’s just the little things 🏡😊
