The Plan:

1. Distribute a leaflet with a list of services who are happy to offer help to people self isolating, sick or vulnerable.

We need:

1. Home Emergency services:

Plumber.
Electrician.
Roofer.

2. Social support:

Volunteer Shoppers.
Pharmacy collection.
Dog walking
Phone chatting (for lonliness)

Hi all,

This is a Corona Virus help group for Whirlow, Beauchief and Millhouses residents.

During the possibly tough times ahead, we will have neighbours in need of a helping hand.

The idea is that when someone has a need, we or they can post on here and get volunteers to help out in a type of buddy system. That way we protect the most vulnerable in our community.

Please join the group and invite locals to do the same (please let me know if there is already a group in existance for our area so I can join that 😊)
