The details:
Job: Insurance Advisor or Trainee Insurance Advisor in our New Business team
Contract: 12 months’ maternity cover
Hours: 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Where: our lovely converted windmill office in Sheerness
Salary: competitive, dependent on experience

Sharrocks has been trading for more than 50 years and proudly remains a family-run business.
We specialise in business, property, holiday home and event equipment hire insurance, working with a variety of insurers across the market and with our own inhouse underwriters.

About you
The right person must be reliable, with a can-do attitude and take pride in their work.
Insurance experience is not necessary as full training will be given. Would suit candidates with a sales or customer service background.
Candidates need to have excellent attention to detail and have the adaptability to rise to the challenges of a busy working environment.
Excellent communication skills - both written and on the phone - are a must along with the ability to prioritise tasks independently inline with Sharrocks’ customer-centric approach.
The successful candidate will be expected to work to daily, weekly and monthly targets.
