KATHLEEN PURCHASE

Kate of Fairholme, passed away peacefully at Royal Lancaster Infirmary on 1st June 2026, aged 82 years.

Loving mother duck to Chelsa, proud nanny to Lilly, Orin and Daisy, dear mother-in-law to Peter. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd June at 2pm. Those attending are asked to wear colourful clothing.
Flowers are welcome or donations if desired will go to the Wainwrights Animal Centre, Grayrigg.

Chelsa and family would like to express their sincere thanks to Sedbergh Medical Practice, to the district nurses and to Anna Cowin. Their care and professionalism have been very much appreciated.

Dee passed away peacefully in Lancaster, aged 70 years. Much loved wife of Sid, mother to Stephen, and grandmother to Edith. Now reunited with parents David and Elsie, and brother David.

Dee was a wonderfully creative, colourful, and spiritual person who loved the arts. Her family choose to remember her undiminished light, curiosity, and warmth.

formerly of Stennerskeugh, Ravenstonedale, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on 27th May 2026, aged 84 years.

Beloved husband of Marjorie, cherished brother of Ann, Donald and the late Tony, loving father of Mike, Maureen and Jill, respected father-in-law of Tony and Gary, proud grandad of Alex, Bethany, Brontë, Greg and Jack, a dear great grandad to Harry and Rory.

Beloved husband of Sue, loving father of Cathryn, Liam and Daniel. A proud grandad to Olivia, Lily, Dylan and Evie. Ian will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will take place at Kendal Parish Church on Thursday 18th June 2026 at 12.30, followed by a private burial in Parkside Cemetery. It was Ian's wish that those attending wear clothing they feel comfortable in.
