Happy

One thing that sets me apart from other mortgage and insurance brokers is that I aim to help dogs as well as people find homes. Helping people buy their new home is my favourite part of my job, but knowing this is actively helping a rescue dog at the same time makes it even more special.

I’m incredibly proud to say that I have:
* Welcomed and housed 12 foster dogs and found them all homes- these are dogs from all over the world
* I’ve run 4 marathons for dog charities
* Organised sponsored dog walks
* Held bake sales
* Paid for emergency transport for a dog that needed life saving treatment in Romania
* Bought an IV drip machine for rescued meat trade dogs in China
* Volunteered at shelters overseas
* Volunteered as a home checker for new potential adopters
* Continue to donate 10% of my broker fee to various dog charities
* Helped with funds for a treatment centre in Romania

I’ve raised THOUSANDS of pounds to help various rescue dogs from around the world. Dogs are so much more than pets, they become family. They love unconditionally, offer no judgement on your saddest days, they are there through everything and I believe that every dog deserves a chance at a life with people who love them, that’s free from suffering.

I’ve been part of the Armed Forces community for a long time- as a spouse, as a military contractor and even as a coach for the Army American Football Team.

When I set up my company, I wanted to ensure that I supported military personnel as much as possible, I specialise in forces mortgages and insurance, I waive my broker fee and now I’m incredibly proud to say that Home & Hound is part of the Armed Forces Covenant.
I’ve pledged to support military personnel, their families and veterans through my advice, business and also through promotion of the incredible work and sacrifices they do everyday.

Dan’s route for his Dogs Trust challenge….

We’re raising money and donations for Dogs Trust in memory of Tilly & Milo, 2 rescue dogs that my friends recently lost.

Dan will be running our favourite dog walk, a 14km route in the Brecon mountains.
We’ll also be holding a cake sale and Willow (Tilly’s little human) will be making personalised bracelets for a donation.
