A great afternoon pitting our pancake-racing skills against other local businesses in the annual St Albans Pancake Race, in aid of Home-Start Hertfordshire. Team Lumin put in a great performance to bring home the Running Race trophy. We’re looking forward to defending our title next year!

Joe also discussed the experience he’s gained at Lumin, why being a financial adviser is “one of the best jobs in the world”, and the mentoring role he’s playing by heading up Lumin’s new Adviser Academy for aspiring financial advisers.

Average house prices in the UK increased by 10% year-on-year in November, according to Nationwide data, with the average price of a house having risen by almost 15% compared to the pre-pandemic levels of March 2020.

State Pension payments will rise by 3.1% from April 2022, after the government confirmed the move. The ‘triple lock’ has been temporarily suspended in light of skewed average earning increases, with the rise in line with inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index.
