Therefore we are inviting applications for the following role;

Travel Specialist Insurance Broker (Personal Lines)

Salary Expectation: Negotiable Dependent on experience
Hours - Full Time
Office Based - 9am-5:30pm
1 Hour Lunch

*Role objectives*
- Responsible for Travel Insurance growth for the business
- Dealing with customers face to face/by phone/email
- Strategic Relationship Management with insurers and introducers
- Networking and Sales, promoting both Travel and the wider RIS brands
- Supporting wider team with Commercial Lines/Personal Lines
- MI Reporting

*Qualification Criteria*
- Ideally 2 years insurance broking experience
- Ideally Qualified with Chartered Insurance Institute - Cert CII (or equivalent A Level or University Level Qualifications)
- Capable and able maintain a good attitude in a busy office environment
- Able to demonstrate ability to prioritise in busy environment.
- No Adverse Financial History - Bankruptcies/CCJs/IVAs
- No Adverse Insurance History - Voided policies/Cancelled Policies ETC

The successful candidate will be expected to commute to, and be based from, our offices in Royton, Oldham.

The role will initially be administrative, building their confidence towards a customer facing position, dealing with customer enquiries.

The right candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and upon completion of their probationary period, then guided through the fully funded industry qualifications. Once the apprenticeship programme has been successfully completed, the business will strongly consider the candidate for a permanent position within the business.

The ideal candidate will be local to Royton, or commutable distance to the office, of school leaving age (16-18), and have completed their full mandatory academic term. Ready to begin their position from September 2023.

The ideal candidate will be;
Punctual
Smart in their appearance
Literate
Confident in front of new people

Preferred Candidate Requirements;
GCSE Grades 4 to 9 (A*-D) in Maths, English and Science or equivalent
or
A Level Grades A*-D In Maths, English and Science or equivalent.
