Almost the weekend, which I am very much looking forward to.

Not a common one, but…… CHECK your title deed following a purchase or remortgage to a new lender‼️ it’s not common, but Land Registry and conveyancers can make mistakes, after all we are all only human. Unchecked mistakes can end up costing thousands, as well as unnecessary stress and pressure regarding the resolution process. So cross the t’s and dot the i’s 😊🏡

⚠️ Interest Rate Rise….

As expected the Bank of England (BOE) have increased the base rate to 3.5%.

❓ What does this mean?

If you are on a tracker rate your monthly payment will increase.
If you are on a discounted rate this will not change unless the specific lender increases their own standard variable rate (SVR).
If you are on a fixed rate you will not see any change until your fixed rate ends.
