Sometimes it’s not big dramatic things — it’s just life being expensive all at once. A car repair, kids needing things, an unexpected bill, or trying to catch up after a difficult month.

At Kernow Credit Union, we’re here to help local people borrow safely and affordably, without the stress of high-interest lenders.

We have a few different loan options depending on your situation, including:

• Family Loans for members receiving Child Benefit into their KCU account
• Standard Loans for members who’ve been saving with us
• Loyalty Loans for members who have built up more in savings than they want to borrow, helping them access a lower interest rate while keeping their savings secure
• Loans that let you keep your savings while you borrow

If you’re not sure what you’d qualify for, that’s absolutely fine — just ask. We’ll always try to explain things clearly and help where we can.

🌼 Reminder: We’re Closed Today 🌼

Just a reminder that Kernow Credit Union is closed today for the Bank Holiday.

We’ll reopen as normal tomorrow morning.

Any withdrawal requests received over the Bank Holiday period will be processed on Tuesday, with funds reaching members’ bank accounts by approximately 5pm. 😊

🌼 Bank Holiday Opening Hours 🌼

Just a quick reminder that Kernow Credit Union will be closed on Monday for the Bank Holiday.

Any withdrawal requests received after today’s cut-off time will be processed when we reopen on Tuesday, with funds reaching members’ bank accounts by approximately 5pm on Tuesday.

We’ll be back to normal opening hours on Tuesday morning 😊

📅 Child Benefit payments this weekend & Bank Holiday reminder

With the Bank Holiday on Monday, some Child Benefit payments may arrive earlier than usual.

If your payment is due on Monday 25th May, it’s likely to arrive on Friday 22nd May instead.

Our office will also be closed on Monday for the Bank Holiday and will reopen as normal on Tuesday.
