Just a little reminder that today is our last day open before the Bank Holiday weekend.

We’re here as usual today, so if you need to get in touch or make a withdrawal, please make sure you do so before we close.

We’ll then be closed for the Bank Holiday and reopen as normal on Tuesday 1 September.

📢 Child Benefit – August Bank Holiday Payment

If your Child Benefit is normally due on Monday 31 August, it will be paid early on Friday 28 August 2026 because of the Bank Holiday. 💷

Safty warning from Cornwall Council

Firefighters are responding to a wildfire at Carn Marth, near Lanner. Smoke is visible around Lanner and Redruth.

If you’re travelling through the area, please take care. If you live nearby, keep your windows and doors closed.

Cornwall is at increased risk of wildfires due to the warm, dry conditions. Please help prevent fires by avoiding BBQs and campfires in the open countryside, taking all rubbish home and disposing of ci******es safely. Never throw cigarette ends from a vehicle.

If you see a fire, move to a safe place and call 999.
