Recently I was invited to a business networking event at The Madejski stadium, home to Reading FC aka The Biscuit Men. Arriving blurry eyed and coffee deprived, I anticipated a friendly event and hopefully some decent biscuits. I walked into the room, got a coffee and small cake and joined a group of delegates at a table. I tried to talk to a couple of people, but they were surprisingly frosty. After a few minutes I realised I was in a management training meeting and I should have been in the room next door! Ha, ha - I made my excuses and left red faced (I kept the coffee and cake though).
When I am not suffering from caffeine withdrawal, I'm also arranging mortgages! I am running a refer a friend campaign for this quarter. I will pay a £50 M&S voucher for all cases which complete that are referred to me by the end of March.
