Our overall vision is to create a successful and sustainable credit union, providing a wide range of financial services which will significantly benefit the people within the common bond. We will give our members confidence to manage their own financial affairs and save safely for a better future, free them from the clutches of high interest money lenders, give them life-skills and pride in operating a viable member-owned business which will promote the values and principles of co-operation, volunteering and working in partnership for the common good. The philosophy of Rathfriland Credit Union Ltd will be to ensure that all savings are kept and used within our community, giving members more power over the money in their pockets and more choices of where they spend it. This will also benefit local businesses and help strengthen the local economy in a sustainable way.
