Manor House Manor House is a Grade II listed Georgian building set in a prize winning park. Dating back to 1772 it was home to the Baring family, of Barings Bank fame.

In 1901 it became the property of Lewisham Borough and opened as a library, which still occupied the ground and lower ground floors. It underwent major restoration in 2009 with many decorative features being restored to their original state, including the splendid decorative plaster ceilings and the apse in what is now the Baring Room on the first floor – originally the master bedroom. There are 4

rooms available for civil weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. The Baring Room holds up to 30 guests plus the couple and 2 witnesses. The AV room holds 24 guests plus the couple and 2 witnesses. 2 smaller rooms hold 10 guests each plus the couple and 2 witnesses.
