SAVE THE DATE | High Sheriff’s Civic Ball – 7 March 2026
To the people of West Glamorgan and fans ,
As my year as High Sheriff draws towards its close, I invite you to join me for what will be one of my final civic events: an evening that brings our community together around what truly matters.
On Saturday 7 March 2026, the eve of International Women’s Day, I will be hosting the High Sheriff’s Civic Ball at Brangwyn Hall, Swansea, in aid of Thrive Domestic Abuse Services
This is more than a ball.
It is a statement.
A statement that women are worth .
That families are worth .
That children deserve to grow up safe, free from fear and violence.
And that domestic abuse has no place in the future of our communities.
Throughout this year, I have met extraordinary people: those working quietly on the frontline, those leading with integrity, those offering kindness when it is needed most.
This evening is for all of you and for those I have not yet had the privilege to meet.
Inspired by the principles of respect, accountability and togetherness, this civic ball is open to women and men, couples and friends (18+).
Because lasting change only happens when we stand side by side, refuse to be bystanders and choose to act.
There will be dignitaries, wonderful entertainment, good food, dancing and above all, a shared purpose.
