We had a fantastic time attending the Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club sponsors’ lunch recently. The atmosphere was brilliant and everyone was incredibly welcoming.

It was great to have Lisa along with me and enjoy the day together, followed by watching one of the matches, and then being joined by her family for some laughs after the game 🤩

I just want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to Lisa, the backbone of my business.

Anyone who runs their own business will know that things simply don’t run smoothly without the right support behind the scenes and honestly, without Lisa, I couldn’t do what I do, personally and with MS Mortgages.

From keeping everything organised, chasing what needs chasing, calming the chaos (mainly because I have booked too much 😅), and making sure my clients are always looked after, she does it all (and usually without me even needing to ask!).

Today the Bank of England decides whether to change the base rate, something that can directly affect mortgage payments and borrowing costs.

If you’re on a variable rate or coming to the end of a fixed deal, today’s news could be especially important.

Yesterday at BNI (my regular networking group), we mixed things up. David Richmond-Coggan from the RNLI was tasked with presenting my business entirely in his own way, and it was great (and emotional) to hear how someone else sees what I do 🥰

Fixed or Variable Rate – which is better? 🤷🏼‍♀️

🔒 Fixed Rate = Your monthly payments stay the same for a set period (great for budgeting)

📉 Variable Rate = Can go up or down depending on the Bank of Englands base rate … good if rates drop, risky if they rise)

Both have pros and cons, the best option really depends on your goals and risk comfort.

I have saved many clients THOUSANDS of pounds on tracker mortgage products because I really do take the time to understand what they’re trying to achieve in the long run!

❌ Not true! There are options with as little as 5% deposit (or as little at £5,000!!!) for first-time buyers, home movers and second residential purchases.
