Today, we're celebrating this amazing lady, Beth, who has been with Barrett Mortgages for over 10 years! While her birthday is tomorrow, she’s taking a well-deserved break, so we’re kicking off the celebrations early. 🎈🎁

We took a short break to celebrate over lunch at Nusara Thai, which was awesome! Thanks to everyone for a lovely meal.

Beth is an integral part of Barrett Mortgages. As our most senior advisor and head of equity release, she has trained many new team members over the years, sharing her knowledge, wisdom, and experience every step of the way. We wouldn’t be the company we are today without her.

Bank of England lowers base rate by 0.25% to 4.75%

Good news for mortgage holders and borrowers! 📉

Today, the Bank of England lowered interest rates again, bringing them down to 4.75% from 5%. This marks the second cut this year, following a 0.25% reduction in August – the first drop since 2020! 🏠

Hopefully, this trend continues, bringing even more relief for borrowers in the coming months. 🌟
