EPS electrical service & maintenance

EPS electrical service & maintenance Electrical service & maintenance I have an enhanced DBS check (Formerly Criminal records Bureau) declaration for your peace of mind. Thanks for reading this far.

Lastly, a word of warning: Please note that if you need new circuits installed, a consumer unit, or work carried out in 'special zones' (bathroom, showers etc.). then under Part P of the Building Regulations that work must be notified to the Local Authority Building Control (LABC). This can be done by contacting the LABC in advance of the job and arranging for a Building Inspector to call (expensi

ve). Alternatively, you can employ a 'Part P' registered electrician who is a member of 'Competent Persons Scheme' such as ELECSA, Napit NICEIC etc. and as such can self certify their work and notify Part P works to the LABC direct. It's a stiff fine if this isnt done, up to £5000. If you see an ad for an electrician that doesn't say they're a member of one of these schemes then chances are they aren't. I pay £900 a year, have my papers checked, sample work checked, instruments recalibrated annually, the correct insurance and so on to retain CPS status. Please beware of any electrician who doesn't provide either a Minor Works Certificates or Electrical Installation Certificates for their work (unless very minor..) and can't notify Part P works for you. Regards Peter
