⚠️ There when you need it most!

An existing client unfortunately suffered a recent fire at a property of theirs.

LMB where informed of the situation right away & worked closely with all involved parties to provide a temporary solution for making the property watertight & habitable ✅

Thanks to everyone’s fast work, this meant no tenants had to be rehoused or find alternative accommodation.

Our Director Luke met the Loss Adjuster on site just 7 days later, following that meeting, the claim was approved that same afternoon 💪

Works are now booked in to put this lovely property back as it was, all whilst the tenants are safe & sound 🤝

You may be aware of an article published today on ‘Plymouth Live’ and other news sources regarding Devon Block Management entering into liquidation owing more than £2 million to creditors and leaseholders.

As a result of this report, we have been receiving many calls from concerned leaseholders
and press organisations who mistakenly believe Plymouth Block Management are part of or in some way connected to Devon Block Management or its directors, Mr Sean Nicholson and his wife, Elaine.

We are issuing this statement to confirm that Plymouth Block Management has not now, nor has ever had any connection or relationship with Devon Block Management whatsoever. Both companies are separate and distinct from one another and until today were direct competitors. Any parties perpetuating alleged links between Plymouth Block Management and Devon Block Management are making defamatory statements and we reserve the right to pursue any individuals or companies attempting to mislead the public to the fullest extent under law. Plymouth Block Management is financially solvent and continues to proudly trade as one of the South West's leading residential property management companies.

Currently putting together a care package for all our fluffy friends at 💚

An absolutely amazing place doing incredible work rescuing & rehoming pets, which is a cause close to our hearts at LMB.

Helping to tackle combustible cladding in our city 📍

A broker somewhere up the line said they simply “couldn’t help” their existing client when faced with the complexities around Fire Safety & Cladding Removal on a Plymouth Hoe building.
 
The local block manager then turned to us, as we’ve previously assisted them in similar scenarios.
 
We worked closely with the quantity surveyor, builder & block manager to ensure optimal cover for all parties involved in this project 🔍
 
Less than 7 days later, we had 3 quotes on the table, offering solutions to all aspects of their predicament ✅
 
Quite the difference from their last broker.

Today marks a very sad day in my career & the insurance industry has certainly lost 1 of the greats.

But as they Vince, when 1 door closes, another opens & we wish you nothing but the best in retirement 🤝

You played such a big part in laying the foundations for LMB & helped set the business up right.

A massive supporter & possibly our biggest advocate since the very early days.

For that I am eternally grateful.

Over those 8 years, we haven’t only developed a strong working relationship, but also an even stronger friendship.

Wishing you nothing but a happy & healthy retirement, I’ll always treasure the lessons you gave me along the way.
