Just 171 financial advisers in the UK were under the age of 25 last year, despite it being possible to qualify as a regulated financial adviser from the age of 18. 💼
Erin Rigault, Independent Financial Adviser at Continuum, recently featured in Financial Planning Today’s guest column, exploring why the profession needs to do more to attract the younger generation.
With financial education still lacking in schools and many people entering the profession as a second career or later in life, Erin believes we need to start introducing young people to Financial Planning much earlier.
She also highlights the opportunities the profession can offer young people looking to build their own businesses.
