🥇 Nationwide
Great rates, strong affordability and free valuations for first-time buyers.

🥈 Halifax
A solid all-round lender. Good with different income types, self-employed applicants and CIS workers.

🥉 NatWest
One of the more generous lenders when it comes to affordability, although they can be a little more document-heavy.

The best lender for you will always depend on your circumstances, but these are three I regularly find myself using for first-time buyers.
